Twenty five years ago we started our company with a simple mission: build carabiners and make them affordable. Although we’ve since broadened our focus a bit to include other product categories, we still have a fondness for our roots.

We have spent the majority of our history solely focused on improving the state of climbing carabiners and if you look closely, you’ll see a legacy of constant improvement and consistent innovation. In fact, Omega Pacific leads the entire industry with our many signature, Omega features in all our climbing carabiners like: Iso Cold Forging, Hooded Gates, Tapered Noses, Flat–Spin Riveting, Side–Swing Gates on HMS styles, and Proof Load Testing our carabiners to half their rated strength.

Some of these features have found their way into a lot of other brands’ carabiners over the years, but no other company has done as much for advancing carabiner reliability, functionality and performance.
