Built with affordability and versatility in mind, the Bulldog for backcountry climbers, snowboarders or snowshoers who want a small, light self-arrest tool, for use as a third tool (40cm shaft works great for that) and even as a pair of entry-level tools for the beginning climber.
Built with high-quality materials (17-4 stainless steel heads, 6061 T-6 aircraft aluminum shafts, 4130 NiCrMo picks), the Bulldog features a straight shaft for easier plunging, greater “holster-ability” and a more intuitive, natural swing style. Bulldogs come standard with Dura-Grip handle, Dura Leashes and Omega’s Reverse Curve Pick. If your Bulldog is going to be chopping steps or self-arresting on snowy peaks, it can also be outfi tted with our optional Classic Alpine Pick.
